Lindsey Carr's work has evolved over the past decade to a surreal blend of traditional naturalistic painting and self-referential orientalism.
For this exhibition, she has used her talent for reinvention for 17th-century Dutch tulip paintings, through a process of gradual deformation, resulting in technically astonishing and visually captivating botanical portraits.
