Kamerian (Shoma Kameda, Japan).
Over the last few years, I have been enthusiastically doing overseas activities, expanding my range of experiences in solo and group exhibitions in Zurich and group exhibitions in New York.
The theme of my works is Childish and Violent.
Since I was a child, I’ve been interested in various comic (Manga) cultures, animation, tattoo art, etc. These themes have influenced my work, which deals with popular culture and comical characters as motifs, which expose the socially taboo human instinct of violence and excessive greed, creating a fairytale-like and perverse world view with strong outlines and highly saturated colors reminiscent of cartoons.
