MIEL KRUTZMANN 

(1984 - AMSTERDAM)

Miel Krutzmann is a Dutch contemporary artist known for his striking and imaginative paintings on walls. Born and raised in Amsterdam, Miel displayed a keen interest in art from a young age. Showing his dedication by attending Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam at the age of 16. Eventually pursuing formal training at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. 

Miel’s art is distinguished by its surreal quality, painting hyper-realistic elements with abstract and fantastical motifs. His work often explores themes of human emotion, conveying ideas at the intersection between real and imaginary. His meticulous attention to detail and vibrant use of color make his pieces instantly recognizable and highly engaging.

Though he is best known for his collaboration with Telmo under the name TelmoMiel, Miel’s individual artistic voice is more & more distinct. His solo works often reflect a more introspective and personal approach, showcasing his ability to convey complex narratives through visual art.

Besides building a TelmoMiel legacy over the last 15 years, Miel will carve a second path to establish himself as an individual artist. His endless dedication to his craft will surely result in epic forms of contemporary art.
