Angela Ho, who also goes by the name 'Ahoy' in her art, is an Australian-Hong Kong artist based in Melbourne. After spending 15 years living in Hong Kong and traveling through London/Europe during the northern summer of 2022, she has returned to Melbourne. Angela predominantly works with paint and pixels, but sometimes her characters come to life with animation and augmented reality.

Her artistic interests lie in fairytales, myths, and storytelling in popular culture, with a focus on morality and virtue. She aims to infuse her work with a hopeful outlook, using cute characters, bright colors, joy, humor, and pop culture references wherever possible. Angela envisions developing her characters and narratives related to social justice, nature, and science fiction over time. Her aesthetic is influenced by her love for vintage children's books and toys, as well as the animations of Fleischer Studios and early Disney. Living in vibrant Hong Kong has also shaped her work in numerous ways.

Angela's paintings have been exhibited in galleries such as Outré, Corey Helford, Dorothy Circus, the Wassaic Project, and BSMT Space, in Melbourne, LA, Rome, New York, and London respectively. Her commercial clients have included Adobe, Slurpee, House Of Vans, GQ, Fast Company magazine, and others. Her work was featured in the April 2019 print edition of Hi-Fructose Contemporary Art magazine, and she was recognized as one of Adobe's Global Creators in 2021.
